The center closes at 5:30 p.m.  It is our expectation that all the children will be picked up by that time.  There is a late charge of $5.00, paid to the teacher, for the first minute after 5:30p.m.and then $1.00 per minute after 5:31 p.m. that a child remains at the center.

Should a parent be 30 minutes late without a phone call, the emergency phone numbers will be contacted.  When all other attempts have been exhausted and there remains no contact from the parent or the emergency contacts the Department of Children and Family will be called to pick up the child.

Step Forward Learning Center requires that only a designated person may pick up a child from the center.  Any no designated person picking up a child, and not immediately known by the Step Forward Learning staff, must present a picture I.D. and the child parent shall have provided the person information in advance.  Information provided by the person picking up the child will be filed on the child's authorized pick up list.
